^^^^ Yes, it could be that the function is already activated, but the more likely scenario (IMO) is that the car doesn't support the facility.
I understand from other forums that this feature was not included in later models (I'm not sure which models). I implemented this tweak about 2 years ago, and I have never used it! It is notoriously unreliable and inaccurate and in my case it always under-measured the volume remaining in my fuel-tank by about 4 litres (approx. 1 US gallon). Kind-of useless - because this is the whole point of the facility.
So don't be too upset if it's not there - I suspect that there are more useful Apps on OBD11 to spend the credits!

hi there,
friend of mine travels to france and in the night when the want to tank / fuel his car, he has to tell the guy how much he want to refuel, cause the fuel pump is closed.
the guy in the station gives you only the fuel / liters you want.

Don Hi Don, I have a similar problem, obd11 tells me this is already enabled on my 2014 mk7 but it isn't in the tick boxes to display. Guess I can live without it, haven't been pulled yet for my dv52 lights maybe the local enforcers think they are too pretty.

Yes it's the same with VCDS where Bit 4 from the long coding helper screen for Byte 10 is also missing (see below)
I assume that you have the arrangement shown in the screenshots below.
If you have the arrangement above, you then need to enable the facility in the MENU screen. This is done by pressing the CAR button, then select SETUP on the bottom RHS of the next screen, then select MULTIFUNCITON DISPLAY on the next screen, then put a tick in REFUEL QUANTITY. Exit all the screens. Then select DRIVING DATA with the steering wheel switch and find the refuel quantity with the up/down button on the steering wheel

Thanks Don, in awe, I think I might have to buy the pro version, which terrifies me.
