Just noticed that 'rear lid control' has been added as an app. Does it work without convenience key? The app says it works with just powered lid. Does anyone know the adaptation? I don't want to use up 10 credits as I'm not sure it works for sure. I have the powered lid on my 18 S5 SB
The G metre app says it will work on the S5, but it doesn't, I wasted 10 credits on this before I knew the adaptation (or long coding, can't remember)

Sorry cant help with your question but I would point out it takes you two days to build up 12 credits so that you can try the app, if it does not work then you should inform the dev team so they can try and fix it.
Sorry I cant be of more help.

Thanks for the reply. I've just been and tried what you said, It now tells me it's not supported. Suppose this answers my question but brings up another question; why is it listed in my car menu ? I have a power trunk lid, and thats the only requirement. Do i need to post something in the App problems area?

Yes please, the problem for the Dev team is they dont have access to every model of every car so they do the best they can.
When they find out there are issues they should update the app narrative so that other people dont try and fail.
You should also drop a line to the support guys via the app help function just so they know directly.
