I finally received my device, so I went to try it out on my 07 Rabbit...
I inserted the device, turned the car on (key to On, but engine not actually running).
It connected and I ran a "Scan". Found some faults...not unexpected in an 11 year old car. OK.
Went to Apps. Found the "Acoustic locking confirmation" - the car has been acknowledging lock from keyfob with a horn.
Set the Value to "OFF". Held the green checkbox and it eventually said, "Success".
Turned car Off. Removed OBD11 device.
Exited car and hit the lock on the keyfob. Car horn blast!
That's exactly what I thought I just "spent" 10c on disabling?
Can someone tell me if I'm using this wrong or whether that app doesn't work (and I threw-away the credits on an app that does not work)?
Thanks, AJ

Some Apps are buggy. I personally don't use any of them. You'll find plenty of coding instructions online and then you don't need credits. To disable it manually: use your history or follow the steps below. ECU 46 -> Long coding Disable Byte 06 Bit 01 Disable Byte 06 Bit 03 Disable Byte 07 Bit 01 Disable Byte 07 Bit 03 That's it
