So, my understanding of NAR (North American Region) models is not optimal.

But, the Leuchte-sets for the front indicators on a mk7 are:
Leuchte0 BLK VL B36 (left-side)
Leuchte1BLK VR B20 (right-side)

If you post-up a copy of the settings on your car for either of these Leuchte-sets (the full 19 x adaptation channels), I'll promise to suggest a way forward

^^^ hmm......... I think that I might have misunderstood your requirements - the leuchte-set that I asked you to post is for the for the front left-side turn-signal and the values show that this lamp only blinks. When you said "no signal light only parking light" which actual lamp did you mean?

So, it looks like you have standard Halogen headlight fittings. The 2 x pertinent Leuchte-sets for the DRL/Parking-lights are :
Leuchte4TFL LB4 (left-side)
Leuchte5 TFL RB32 (right-side)

Please repeat your previous picture for one of these Leuchte-sets

PS: just to confirm, you want to remove the "signal-light" - meaning that you don't want the DRL to extinguish/reduce in illumination on the side of the car that the turn-signal operates? Or do you want to simply delete the DRL (during daylight hours)?

Try this -and please tell me if this is what you want:

Select the central electrics module (@ address hex09)
Select coding
Enter the magic number 31347
Select adaptation
Search for "4TFL" and select Leuchte4TFL LB4
Select Lichtfunktion A 4 and change to not active (current setting is Tagfahrlicht)
Search for "RB32" and select Leuchte5 TFL RB32
Select Lichtfunktion A 5 and change to not active (current setting is Tagfahrlicht)
Exit OBD11

Fred: My change should remove ONLY the "DRL" function from the inner lamp.

If i'm reading the leuchte-programming in your picture correctly, the inner lamps operate 3 x lighting functions:

DRL - 100% illumination,
Parking light - 31% illumination and
DRL wink- 0% illumination

So when you make my suggested changes, only the DRL function is removed - the DRL wink function still operates, but it does nothing. However, the inner lamp still operates as a parking light when the low-beams are switched-on.

I can remove the parking light function too, if you want - which would mean that the inner light won't ever switch-on (is this street legal in your country?)

rafcolos: hmm.......I've not seen a G397_RLFSS fitted to a MY17 Mk7- but the fault description certainly confirms the Parking Light (PL) problem. There's no indication of a low-beam problem - odd!!

I note that you have programmed the new rain-light sensor for rain auto-close - does this tweak actually work?

So- does either PL, or low-beam work when you move the rotary light switch to the respective positions (to the right)? What changes did you make to the central electrics module when the rain-light sensor was installed?

to answer your question: yes I have installed the rain / light / humidity sensor following a guide found on the net, coded it works perfectly, but it gives me a (vehicle lighting problem error) another error (Parking light not activated left / right-low beam not activated)
the rotary switch works in all positions, I just don't understand where I'm wrong ..... thanks for your help ...
