Tried, yes, plenty. Succeeded, not at all. From what I understand, our DRL/signaling functions are hardwired into the lighting themselves. I may not be correct exactly but it's something along those lines, which is why we're unable to program it via OBD11/VCDS

bob: My understanding is that the FL mk7 had a fundamental re-design in its headlight function: In the earlier model mk7, the headlights were controlled by the Central Elect module @ address hex09 and Leuchte-sets were used to program the lighting function. However, the FL mk7 introduced 2 x new modules called "Light Control Modules" (LCMs) - left-side LCM is @ address hexD6 and right-side LCM is @ address hex D7.
This means that the traditional Leuchte-set for the lamps in the headlight assemblies are deactivated by the factory in the FL mk7. Which means unfortunately that your changes to the leuchte-channels will have no effect (alas)

bob: alas, I don't believe that there is much that can be done to the LCMs. Why not try to investigate the module's adaptation channels - if OBD11 can read the database?
