Hi I recently bought the pro version of OBDEleven to tweak my Golf. I had a 2013 Passat and was able to use VAG-COM to change the US version of the software from US to Germany because if you change the country code in your instruments coding to "Germany" the radio will stay on when you turn the car off until you pull out the key or open the door in the case of the KESSY version.
How can I do the same thing with the OBDEleven. Thanks!!

Not my car but if you give us the coding you followed hopefully we can convert that to OB11 speak.
On my car under control unit 17 there is a long coding item called Language version
It can support German, English, US English, French, Italian, Spanish and many more.
But if you can provide the coding hopefully somebody can help you.

This is what i found about the country change.
Changing Instrument to Rest of World (RoW)
Load up VCDS, click on the Select button under Select Control Module
Click on the 17-Instruments button
Click on Coding- 07 button
Click on the Long Coding Helper button
In Byte 0 under Bit 4-7, click the drop-down menu and select 10 Country: Rest of World (RoW)
Save your settings.
NOTE: This will change some things such as chime when door is open, light sensor sensitivity and others to non-USA/Canada requirements/recommendations. I am not sure what they are, so please use caution.
