Dear all,
I would like to have my inner led dot in my headlights coded as a DRL , from what Ive found already is that you could do the scandinavion way by coding it that : your drl = parking lights. But this would cause my taillights to be on at all time. Which I dont want. So is there a possiblity to either disable your taillights when ur parking lights are on OR another way to illuminate that small inner led of my headlights when my drls are on.
Thank you so much for any help.
Kind Regards Wouter

^^^^ short answer is YES and NO - it all depends on how your car is programmed! Long answer is that you need to tell us the settings on your car for the 19 x adaptation channels for the Leuchte-sets: - Leuchte8FL LB39 (left-side dot)
- Leuchte9FL RB2 (right-side dot)
Also, my understanding is that the center dots in the headlight assemblies is hard wired to the amber side LEDs. If this is correct, it means that reprogramming the center dots to operate as DRLs will also apply to the amber side LEDs. Is this a problem for your needs? Don

Hey Don, Thanks a ton. The channelnames you mentioned I had never found before (and Ive been searching for a while) This makes it indeed easy to code, and in the meantime I've already coded it! Perfect. I have a GTI clubsport so as a EU specced car I dont have to worry about the amber side leds. Thanks again Wouter

dv52 (Australia) (Australia) Hey Don, I know this is a bit of an old thread now but I am trying to do the same thing rcklzz was, however I am not quite as adapt as him. Do you know off the top of your head which values in those adaptions I have to alter to have the dot come on with the DRLs as well as the low beams? Thank you!

suiteautumn : hi. My post above was a bit of a guess. But if you want to proceed - do this:
- Fire-up OBD11 and connect to the dongle
- Go to the central electric module
- Select Adaptation
- In the search box enter "LB39" and select Leuchte8FL LB39
- Take screenshots (I need to see ALL 19 x adaptation channels) and post pictures here
What country?
Don

Do this:
Leuchte8FL LB39 and Leuchte9FL RB2 - Dimmwert AB >127
- Lichtfunktion C > Tagfahrlicht

Hi everyone, I have a golf gti mk7.5 performance, from 2019 and I really wish to enable the inner drl. Searched over the internet and most people say I cannot, because there are no lights inside that inner strip, but there are, there is light coming from there, but is dimmed. How can I code this to be at 100% intensity? Or maybe it is not possible… thanks a lot for your help!

Unfortunaly the people are right. If you want them to illuminate, you have to buy ither units. I think what you see in your lights is reflection of the light next to it.

Hi. Thanks for reply. First I had the same feeling, that is just reflection, but is not. When I signal, I can see lights inside the inner drl, but is very low intensity, not just a reflection

Nope sorry, it realy is just a reflection. It looks like led behind the glas because of the structure of the glas. There are some sort of ingravings in the glas that create more light diffusion. Also works the other way around, pick up more reflection.
