Hello forum,

I have a 2018 Golf GTE equipped with LED-MID.

I have successfully activated Skandinavian DRL which also enabled the front park lights as DRL (together with the U/C shaped LEDs you get on the electric/hybrid vehicles). See this is exactly what I wanted. Now I just need the last aesthetic touch by increasing the brightness on the park lights.

I feel like I've searched everywhere on the web but I just can't find the right module/adaption.

The leuchte adaptions seems empty or without function.

Another post on this forum suggested that the modules D6/D7 controls the headlights but when adding the modules they stay "blacked" out.

So now I turn to you. Are any of you familiar with a solution?

How do I turn up the brightness of the front park lights?

One of the easier ways of enabling Parking lights as DRLs is to use what's called "Scandinavian DRLs" (see the 1st post on this thread). However, this tweak also illuminates the rear tail lights as DRL and the number plate (and also the Dashboard lights illuminate during daylight). If this is acceptable, follow my visual instructions below (which show the old OBD11 screens - but it's the same process with the current SW). Where the instructions say "Search Criteria" - use the Newer Modules option.

If Scandinavian DRLs is not acceptable - try this on Leuchte2SL VLB10:

Lichtfunktion C 2 > Tagfahrlicht
Dimmwert CD 2 > 100

If this is successful on the left side Parking Light- do the same on Leuchte3SL VRB21 (which should be the right-side Parking Light on your car -I think)

So "Scandinavian DRLs" are working and my park lights are on.. but is there way make them brighter?

Again, I'm not sure about the specifics of Nordic mk7/7.5 cars (they appear to be programmed differently to other EU vehicles in my MQB platform database)- but the normal practice for Scandinavian DRL facility is that the settings are max illumination and can't be changed, alas
