Hi guys,

I'm totally new here, so please be patient. This week I will receive my new Golf 7 Facelift (Kessy + folding mirrors installed) and was wondering about some functions I want to adjust. What I would like to do is the following:

1. Unfold mirrors automatically when unlocking the car (by touching the handle) or starting the ignition. One of these two is hopefully default, so no coding needed.

2. Automatically lock the car, when i'm out of the KESSY reach and fold up the mirrors as well. I don't really see a point to take out my key and manually lock the car with a KESSY function installed.

I hope those mods are possible

ah, i'm not the only one trying to figure this out. but so far there is no solution to not let it lock immediately, right? I saw this exact feature on other cars. The car locks, when you walk away... why is it so hard to have this option in a VW?.

Sorry I replied with the wrong info, the mirrors closing is in both the door modules, not the central electronics (the coding I put was for windows closing)
I presume vw decided not to do the auto lock out of messy range is because it’s only like half a meter away from the door
