Hi, I'm new to OBDeleven but have used VCDS. I understand the long coding thing but will occasionally want to use an app for when the long coding info is not easy to find. I understand that each time I use the same app I'll need to pay each time. But have a question:
If I use an app for the first time, will the changes be shown in history to enable me to use the long coding for the next time I need to make the adaptation or make a back step?
For example, the extended lighting package demo, which resets to off each time the ignition is turned off.

I only use the apps when testing other peoples issues so afraid i don't pay a lot of attention to them.
What I can say is if you use an app then your history will show the app being used not the associated long coding.
However if you take backups pre and post the change then i suspect you would be able to see what has changed
