Good,
Does anyone know if it is possible to activate the adaptive cruise control in our Ibiza?
We have the front proximity sensor that slows us down if we approach a car and do not slow down in general, should it be enough for the ACC not?
Regards, thanks

Ok i show you how to do it with OBDeleven:
1) Go to your control unit list 2) Select Control unit 01 which is engine 3) Select "access authorization" 4) Enter 11463 to enable cruise control
Is it now clear?

Hi ThirstyDE, thanks for your reply. I just would like to make sure I understood the thread:
- Is that video to activate just Cruise Control? or the Adaptative Cruise Control (ACC)? 'cause as far as I understand Sami asks for the Adaptative Cruise Control, as well as I do (that feature that slows you down automatically when you go at a cruise speed and the vehicle in front goes slower than that cruise speed, of course that feature requires a Mid Range Radar (MRR)). I mean, your car comes with the MRR, and then you find out that you don't have the adaptative feature, only emergency braking if I'm not wrong. That's disapointing...
Am I wrong Sami? Does an activation procedure exist with OBDeleven? or is it indeed what you published previously?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards, Angel

I would say this video is for cc and not acc. I searched a bit for acc coding but i am only finding acc distance settings for different cars like audis.

Thank you very much

I am pretty sure that ACC needs different sensors - it doesn't rely only on the bumper sensor. It also needs the cameras that come with Lane Assist.

hellnoize If you want to activate CC then give it a try However the coding can be different for other car models.

Hello from Greece.. I just received a IBIZA 1,6 tdi Reference witch is equipped with speed limiter and NOT cruise control. Can you give us the procedure to deactivate speed limiter and activate cruise control. I believe that the stroke is the same. Thanks in advance

Firstly you have to change your CC-Blink Lever. Because ACC needs different lever to set proximity. Our "Front Assist" supports ACC we don't need to change the radar. Come to your question; I'm searching for retrofits like that for a long time. The services which do retrofit's for VAG, as I saw they are using different program, not like vcds. If you find any way with OBDII please tell us.
