Hi folks.
I have recently discovered OBDeleven but I'd like more info on it. Is there a video or a list of the mods/apps whatever they're called that shows me what each one does?
Thanks for any info guys.

Its and Android only (no plans to change) VW Group only (wont change) device that allows you to change the way your car works. For example on my car i have been able to add traffic recognition (shows me the speed limit of the road I am on) do many things to the way the lights work, change the gearbox settings etc. In terms of what you can change if you go to your car in the forum hopefully there will be a list of stuff you can do, if not check out any coding for your car with VCDS this can be adapted easily for OBD11. It does not allow you to change firmware (like an engine map would do) and it does not allow you to get round component protection. Other than that check out oBD11 Website and the youtube site and in fact anything with VCDS or OBD11 for your car. Check this thread out forum.obdeleven.com/thread/2095/new-obd11-pro-help will give you some info.

VCDS is the rolls royce of this sort of tool. However it is a windows based tool that needs a cable to connect to the car and for the better price version you are limited to 3 cars. VCDS offers a much much better support network - which we the obd11 community can share. VCDS is much loved by people who do retrofits For the day to day user like me who wants more out of the stock car OBD11 is the best on a cost vs benefit basis.
Update Have you made any changes to the car via OBD just before the change.
