There are o lot of nice apps in OBD11 you can use for credits, but one is definitely missing: Enable or disable safety belt warning beep. I coded this with VCDS, so there is no beep during driving without wearing safety belts. This is nice e.g. on parking areas. It disables at the same time the display light, which could be glow anyhow. Is it possible to add this function?

Okay, I'll request there - Thank you. I do not own The VCDS software by myself. It would be nice to change the function if required. In Germany it is illegal to disable that.

Thirsty not everybody has the Pro version so they would prefer to have a one click app rather than paying for coding. Hansdampf not sure about the MK5 but on my Cupra I have three options, No Sound, US (5 PINGS ONLY) and normal. I have the US Version set.

I have the Pro version, but for (long) coding you need specifications. OMG - where do I have it. I disabled it with VCDS in 2009 ... It is more easy to have the one click option. I don't know, if the US-Version is possible for the MK5.

Is there a "needle sweep" coding possible for mk5 gti?
When you diagnose the dashboard needles sweep, is it possible to code it for before engine starts?
