Afternoon

Sorry if this topic has been discussed elsewhere but I have upgraded to the discover pro 9.2" screen from the standard Discover 6.5" that came with the car. I got all the bits including replacement bezel online. It did come out of a Golf 7. Everything works fine. Its been activated, Dynadio even works. I can change the splash screen on boot to Rline etc with the OBDeleven app.
My only issue is I cant seem to change the car graphic. It remains a picture of the Golf the system came from on various pages that the graphic would be displayed.

I am hoping someone can tell me how to change this. I had presumed wrongly that it would pick up the VIN and automatically show the car picture being a Passat B8 Rline Estate in the Vehicle Status screen.

Any help much appreciated

this is from the mk7 and leon settings and enables you to change the car.

However in my experience on the older cars what options you have are down to what is pre loaded in (guess) firmware so as you will see on the Golf side there were a number of cars on the Leon it was only the Leons that were enabled.

There may be something to do with other settings but never went any further.

I saw you have upgraded your head unit on your golf. I have a B8 Passat and thinking of upgrading my one as well from mib2 to mib2.5
So i was wondering did you do any coding when installed the new one? Also, did you only replaced the screen or the main unit as well?

Hi, I try to ask here even is not on my car. I'm trying to change the car showed on my MIB2 High unit, it's a second hand unit. I have a Seat Leon ST of 2015. I tried coding the bytes 0-3 with codes founded in internet but I had no luck, always showing the classic 5 door leon. Is there a way to show my Leon ST? (Adding the right color would be nice too, but idk if it's possible).
