Hello, I'd like to know if someone know how to activate the Pedestrian Monitoring features (my car is fitted with oem multifunctional dash cam). Then I'd like to know if someone have or have a link to the firmware update to put on SD Card in order to update my MIB2 Head Unit with hardware code: 3Q0035864B. Thanks in advance  |

You can’t update via SD, has to be flashed at a dealers

I talked also to a VW dealership and told me that they use encrypted sd cards.
The Pedestrian Monitoring can be activated via OBDEleven?

I think somebody has enabled it (mines from factory) or at least got it showing in the setting but hasn’t actually tried it (not sure their wife was happy about walking out in front of a moving vehicle)

There’s a couple of pedestrian settings in the long coding of the front sensors module (A5) also I don’t know if the autonomous braking has anything to do with it (its enabled on mine)

No news, as the facts are:
3Q0980654 is unable to detect pedestrians on its own. The older, bigger brother ...653 can do this, but was never fit in Golfs.
Pedestrian detection in Golf 7 FL is done in the ACC and needs Swap
