Hello everyone, I introduce myself in the forum with my new ibiza. I installed obdeleven and I wanted to activate with the application with a click of the ibiza KJ to lower the mirror backwards, but I get this message and it is not activated, I activated the needle sweep without problem, but this does not work for me  . Let's see if anyone can try it with the ibiza app. Thank you. message: Make sure ingnition is turnet on. |

i have a same problem  The app doesent work correctly. Through the coding dont work but does not appear the module needed. |

Hello Sami, you could talk this with the administrator or who brings the issue of the applications with a click and tell you if they have really tried it on the seat ibiza KJ and seat arona, since I have seen in the latter that the same error. And if it does not work so they put it as an app.
It is assumed that if they put the app it is because it works.
What is not is where the problem is if it is in the app or the problem is the car that does not have the necessary module. The vw polo 2018 according to the official sales website if you have this configuration.

In the VW Polo 2018 you can ask with that configuration to lower the mirror with the reverse gear, what I do not understand is that in the seat ibiza having the same modules gives error when trying to activate it.

Mirror dipping is only working 100% if you have memory seats(electrical seats).
There are tons of coding manuals out there checkout out my signature for more information.

Hello, I have seen it working in a VW scirocco without electric seats, I checked it and they were seats with manual adjustment. I guess the VW Polo according to version does not take them either. Another thing is that the mirrors have to carry memory. Greeting. |

As i said you need memory seats for full functionality.
It is working without these aswell but if there's no memory to store the mirror postions it won't be accurate(mirrors don't go back to original place 100%).

ThirstyDE I think the memory seats are only for the Audi and some Older VW's, My Cupra certainly does not have memory seats but if you check for a post by DV52 (GOD OF CODING) he will show you on the Golf Thread how to check if your car has memory function for the mirrors. What I would add is I think that if you dont have the memory function then the app would give a warning but I dont use them so cant confirm.
One other thinkg to say I have found recently that a number of the coding changes do not work until after you have gone to inotainment unit, Car Settings and done a Factory Reset.

Hello, I've been looking at a user manual of the vw polo 2018, in which it is possible to lower the rearview mirror with the reverse gear. Apparently the memorization is done in the key. These are the steps of the manual.
1º Activate the rearview mirror in the CAR menu
2º Adjustment memory of the right exterior mirror for backward movement (tilt down).
- Choose a valid vehicle key to which you must assign the adjustment.
- Unlock the vehicle with this vehicle key.
- Connect the ignition. Engage reverse gear.
- Adjust the right exterior mirror so that the edge area can be seen clearly.
- The adjusted mirror position is automatically saved and assigned to the vehicle key.
The saved position of the right-hand exterior mirror for the reverse gear is left when driving forward again
at a speed of more than 15 km / h or when the R control is placed in another position.
