Any ideas how to adjust the brightness of the LED U lights (both during DRL operation and when low beams are on) on a GTI 7.5 Autobahn edition? (Should be same lights as E-Golf and R)
The coding for Mk7 no longer applies - Light2SL VLB10 and Light3SL VRB21 both do not have any dimming values defaulted above 0. Same with all the other Leucht channels are the same - some do have dimming values, but none control the front LEDs. Tried all the Leutch channels to no avail.
Imagine there is a setting somewhere still, as with other VAG cars, the DRLs dim considerably when the low beams come on.

I've been messing with it the past few days trying to figure it out. Hopefully this weekend I'll get some time to actually get it working

Still no luck - over the weekend I tried looking into basically every setting in Central Electric and other similar control units - no luck. Nothing relating to dimming levels besides those set to 0, and none set to daylight running (Tagfahrlicht) as an enabled setting. (In Canada so at least one of the lights should be tagged as Tagfahrlicht to be DRL.)

I can't really figure out the difference between tagfahrlicht and Dauerfahrlicht but I'm emailing my back up to myself to translate everything from Central Electronics and Multifunction Module and hopefully get an idea of what might help or at minimum rule things out. |

Anyone some progress on above item? I have a 2017 e-Golf and trying to increase the brightness of the U-shapes. I have already been able to remove the "fog" light from the DRL setup (Leuchte 12 and 13). Though the four led U shapes in the headlight are only barely visible. I have searched all Leuchte items though cannot find the proper item to increase the brightness. Any help would be welcome. thx.

sleurio : Whether the behavior of the "angel eyes" can be modified really depends on whether the central electrics module on this car controls these lights. My hunch is that on this car, this might not be the case. If this car has Light Control Modules (LCMs) installed, mods are NOT possible because OBD11 cannot access the module values. If the low number Leuchte-sets (i.e. Leuchte <10) are factory disabled in the central electrics module -this car probably has LCMs. You can also check this by noting the installed modules in the SCAN report for this car
