If you want to try to figure out what most of the German language adaptation channels refer to in your own language, you can use Google Translate to translate most the german terms into another language and make an offline searchable database of adaptations in that language. I did this to translate into English Module 9, Central Electrics, by creating a back file and using the ODBeleven share feature. I imagine it would be similar with VCDS and exporting an admap. To do this: To return the admap back to its original state, sort column C "Low to High", which will resort the admap table back to its original state. Since I don't know German, I've found some interesting adaptations this way just reading down the translated list. Here's a view-only version of my module 9 admap exported from OBDeleven. I've added a fourth column, "Of interest". I add a "1" for every adaptation that looks like it might be worth researching more or fiddling around with. I also add a "1" for the value row of the adaptation that I am interested in. I can then sort the "Of interest" column so all of the adaptations I want to research move to the top. You'll see what I mean if you take a look: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vPlAiXxa7ek73Gupvc5Dt5vhpLXuzZpjHcSYQ-cSmdI/edit?usp=sharingNot all adaptations get translated correctly, because some words aren't proper German words to begin with, or might be abbreviations or contractions. And obviously, acronyms also aren't translated (like "DWA" which refers to the anti-theft settings). And of course, the better solution is to be fluent in your own native language and German, which unfortunately is not my case!

Good stuff, Cupra, thanks for that! Knowing the German acronyms is helpful.

Since translating my admap to English, I've found some interesting things to explore. Do you know what these do?
Warnblinktastersuchbeleuchtung Grundwert: 10.00% Warnblinktastersuchbeleuchtung Faktor: 0.1 Tankschloss: bidirectional Geschwindigkeitsabhaengige Tankdeckelverriegelung: not active Status Tankdeckelverriegelung: not active
In English:
Warning flasher button search light 10.00% Warning flasher button search light factor: 0.1 Tank Lock: bidirectional Speed-dependent fuel cap lock: not active Tank cap lock status: not active
Is "Warnblinktastersuchbeleuchtung Faktor" the light intensity of the 4-way flasher button? I've always thought it's too bright. It doesn't dim at night.
And I'm intrigued by the tank lock. Does "Status Tankdeckelverriegelung" (found withing HW_Verbau) refer to an indicator lamp on the dash when the fuel filler door is not closed? I did change it to active, but it did not result in any obvious change (no warning light in dash came on when the filler door was opened).
Also the speed dependent lock. I only know that the fuel filler door locks with the central locking. I wonder what the speed-dependent function is.

Not sure I will go and have a play, on my car the Warnblinktastersuchbeleuchtung Grundwert: was set to 0 from the factory
the Faktor was 0.20% again from factory
Geschwindigkeitsabhaengige Tankdeckelverriegelung: - Speed-dependent fuel cap lock: on my car is set to active from factory
dont appear to have the other options on my car
I can only imagine that speed dependent lock means if your car goes over x km then like the doors it locks. If its set to not active I am guessing it does not lock unless you lock the car (or maybe not at all)

I don't see the need for speed dependent locking, but was curious. Do you know anything about the Tank cap lock status? Do you have a warning light in your dash when the filler door is open? I'm guessing that even though I changed adaptation channel on mine to active, there might not be a physical bulb in the instrument cluster.
