I noticed that I can perform a DSG reset in the transmission control unit. Has anyone with a DSG7 (dry clutch) tried this?

Just yesterday I did a dsg reset again and managed to do every step of the VCDS guide. |

Transmission produces sounds, nothing changes on the screen. 
A minute later, a message appears.

When switching to 3 gears, you feel a slight vibration of the body of the car for 2 seconds. I think this is due to an abnormally large number of unsuccessful inclusions of the 3rd gear.  "resetting of all adaptation values" I'll try tomorrow. |

I have a 2016' MK7 GTI Performance (Australian delivered). I am just restarting this thread as this is an issue that I am having as well regarding the quoted setting and was wondering if anybody has found a solution or can explain further why 'resetting of all adaptation values' is not available for some people? Just a few key points about my car as reference for those who might be able to chime in: - I have custom DSG software installed. - This procedure was once done via VCDS by my mechanic when I was standing right next to him (i.e. I heard the gearbox calibrate etc). Admittedly, at the time I had another brand of DSG tune installed. Wondering if this is the cause (i.e. do some DSG tunes lock this option?). OBDEleven Pro mimics VCDS so I am assuming the option should be available?? - When I press the 'resetting of all adaptation values' option (as per the quoted screenshot) on the screen it comes up with a dialog box stating 'not available'. Just trying to learn a bit more about why this option isn't available for some OBDEleven Pro users. Any feedback would be appreciated! Cheers. |

Unfortunately not.
I haven't had any response.
What I plan to do (or if anybody has tested this) - is to connect the proper VAG-COM (Ross-tech) VCDS and see if this option becomes available. In event that it does, we will then determine that OBDEleven does not support this option for whatever reason.
If anybody else on this forum has some additional information - please let us know as it would give us a good reference point to troubleshoot this issue.
