Hi everyone,
Is it possible to reduce/dim the front and back ceiling lights? Recently I have swapped the original OEM halogen ones for some LEDs, and it's way too bright. I can't do anything in the infotainment, so maybe there is a way through OBD?
Thanks

You can't reduce dim interior light. It is possible only with outside light.

At a guess i would suggest that VW thought people like being able to adjust the cabin lights that are on when the car is driving and therefore made the roof lights dumb on off items.
Coding tools have to use VW's setup so if they don't provide it you cant code it I am afraid.

and just to add to this i am currently documenting all of my control units.
Under long coding I found the following options
Bit 1 - Ambient door panel lights Bit 2 - Ambient cup holder lights Bit 3 - Ambient footwell lights Bit 4 - Ambient speaker lights
so as you can see there are many ambient light settings but i have nothing for roof lights Also I am sure i dont have the control units or physical lights for cup holder or speaker lights.

Yeah I have found those as well, but because there was no reference of the ceiling lights, I asked here if anyone new about a different way!
