Actually, mine's pq47h+. Either way I'm getting some resistors I guess, since obdeleven can't do the one thing I wanted it to do.
As for aussietig: If you have nothing constructive to say and you're not really trying to help: don't bother saying anything at all. You still didn't answer my question, and you're still just repeating yourself, yet not trying to actually help disable LED warning. NO, it is not in long coding, as that would be byte 18 which can't be read unless you actually make a change, at which point you won't be able to revert back again since it's written to the EEPROM.

I actually spent half an hour yesterday looking through that module but couldnt find anything to do that but now I realise you are on different platform its probably why.
I did own a Passat for 8 years but didnt fiddle with it.

Both with OBD11 as well as with VCDS & VCP (I got it all)

If you have VCP did you try to read the eeprom of the bcm and edit it with VAGHelperX ?

Then I apologise, didn't realise you were actually trying to help. Ye, seems there are quite a lot of differences depending on platform.

I'm still left with an inkling feeling that with the right code, we could get to security access and then change adaptation, just like in the golf, but without the access code there's no way of finding out I guess.
