I tried to do that on my passat b7 and i ser long adaptation instead of just " adaptation". Anyway when i open it i dont see and canty change voltage limit. It's a pain in the a**. Disabling start stop was one of the biggest reasons i bought this device. Can someone explain to me like im 5 years old how to disable start stop on my car ? hmm....... if your car is "5 years old", I suspect that you need to use the "temperature method" (not the "voltage method") explained in the instructions HEREI originally wrote these instructions for VCDS, but they are easily translated to OBD11 speak Don Can you please make a post with screenshots disabling the start/stop with temperature method ? I'm really casious because i already tried some things and almost messed my car. Btw i dont have adaptation as an option on my model, instead i have the "long adaptation". And i dont have the voltage option either, so i would be so grateful if you would make a step by step with screenshots post on how to disable start/stop via Temperature method. Thanks !

OK - my bad, I had assumed (incorrectly as it now appears) that the Passat B7 has UDS/ODX protocol modules - but this isn't the case. So, neither the temperature or voltage methods that are used for the Golf mk7.0 apply to these cars
