nicvail which control module are you trying to use long coding on.
When you look at the code string is it 000000000 etc, if so you have one of the new modules that VW have created that does not use long coding anymore.

Can you tell where to look to find this you're talking about?
Thanks

So on my old car (2014) where the long coding works, you can see my long coding string is as below right. Select the Control Unit and then take the Long Coding option
| Select option 1 and the long coding code here is OB001B46C24102F3OBA4 Etc

|
On the newer cars (2016/7 onwards) the 09 Central Electronics screen will show 000000000000 .

Yes, I am a pro user. When I go into Central Electronic, I have no Long Coding option for my 2018 Tiguan. It's not there like it is for my 2016 Golf.

Maybe they haven’t got round to putting it into obdeleven or vw maybe have taken it off because it’s all a zero string,

The 09 central electrics long coding of Tiguan My2018 is all “0” by default from VW. With Obdeleven and also Vag Com is possible to work only with “Adaptation”

Control Unit 09 Central Electronics no longer supports long Coding all the old switches (that were in long coding) can now be found in adaptions on facelift cars.
If you car is supposed to have long coding but it dont show it then clear the app data cache that should help.

Mine shows all 0's. So how can I adjust AID look, taillight brightness and rear indicator + parking lights flash on indicator? look in the golf facelift section under codings and adaptions, there’s lots of info for the AID in there
