Afternoon all
After buying the pro version off obd 11 i have found that this software is no good for re coding anything on the facelift golf 7.5 . It gives me the option to turn off my headlamp washers in the long coding section but does not actually do it . Even though it says the code has been accepted . Are the admins going to update this software or have i just wasted my money . Sorry for the moan but i did message the admin about turning the washers off and they said it could be done . And that is the only reason why i bought the software . Ah well lets wait for a S/W update

ok I am on a pre facelift car check out this thread obdeleven.proboards.com/post/11746 hopefully it will help you. I understand you say Byte 13 and Bit 3 dont work but if you have the other adaptions you should be able to make changes to help you

So this is a facelift car, Is this in Control unit: 09 Central Electrics you are making your changes to.
My understanding is that on Facelift cars VW Have turned off the long coding and when you look at the string its all zeros (now changed as you did the update) but it must be ignored by the car.
The description you can see i suspect is from the pre facelift (which does work) i suspect.
If you look in your adaption channel you should have something for windscreen wiper and part of that on my car allows you to control the front light washers.
If you cant find it i would ask the question on the Facelift thread and somebody on there will help you with correct coding.
