Hi, I had exactly the same issue with this adaptation.
It turned out to be very costly as I had no headlights or front windscreen wipers! After a trip to Audi and being relieved of £207 later, they had to recode it back to factory settings.
Please do not use the rear wiper tear drop code as it was this function that caused the error. Even after turning the function off the damage was already done.
I have since used nearly all the pre-use apps with no issues, just the tear drop so, please be careful!

And just to add to this, MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL YOUR CONTROL UNITS BEFORE YOU START.
That way when stuff goes wrong you are able to code it back to how it was.
This includes the apps as the backup compare will enable you to work out what has changed.

For anyone who gets this error, it is to do with the long coding for the central electronics unit.
When you use the app for rear wiper tear drop, the app overrides the long code on the car in 'central electronics' to something completely different which then causes the headlight range control error and stops the wipers from working.
To fix this, you need to have the original long code for 'central electronics' which you can get from OBDEleven under 'my car' and then 'history' I luckily emailed myself the scan log before I made changes and I got the original long code from that email.
I am not sure if you can long code from the OBDEleven phone app but I had a garage with VCDS software change the long code back to the original for me.
Hopefully this saves other people from a lot of frustration and wasted money trying to get their cars working again. This problem with the tear drop app needs to be looked into by Voltas as it is breaking people's cars.

Hi,
I haven’t read this before a did the rear wiper coding so now is my wife’s car also “broken” Can you explain how I can do I in OBDELEVEN to fix it? Have the pro version so I have access to the long coding.
Thanks in advance for the help and support.
