I’ve posted this problem on another forum: www.vwroc.com/forums/topic/24717-really-slow-response-in-long-coding/In essence although I’ve got pro I can’t seem to access long coding via obdeleven. I’ve tried reloading the app, clearing the cache, switching off the car Bluetooth and even tried my system in another car. I can use it to do the basic things via the prolonged ‘apps’ on obdeleven but when I go into long coding it just hangs on loading and doesn’t actually do anything.

Mark to summaries.
You are on a pre facelift car so your long coding should work. You have tried it on another VW Car and get the same issue. you have cleared the application cache have you cleared the bluetooth cache I know you say you have a pro account but when you open OBD11 under Profile you can see your user name and to the right it should say PRO is that the case.
Other questions
1/ Do you have any retrofitted equipment in the car. 2/ Do you know anybody else who has OBD11 and ask them to try it on your car (it will at least discount your car being the issue) 3/ Can you run a scan and are you able to do a backup of your control units 4/ Have you tried doing it on another android device (trying to track down where the issue is) 5/ What phone or tablet / version of Android do you have

No other equipment. I’ve tried my dongle and app in another car and got the same result. Didn’t try theirs in my car. But note when I plug mine into my car I am able to carry out changes via the apps using credits. Therefore I’ve been able to do pace car lights and cancel my headlight washers. This points me to adds the dongle working, the tablet working and the app working. Just not the pro part. Yes I can scan the car for faults and can clear fault codes. I’ve tried using 2 android devices both running 4.2. A huwai mobile and an android tablet.

OK have sent you a PM, But I would suggest you go back to support and point them to this thread.
It does feel like there is an account setup issue but only support can look at that i am afraid.

The support won't help with activation issues. I haven't had luck getting my code to reactivate on my phone and I get an excuse. I am beginning to think this is a shame. With all the support on audi forums and here, I am ashamed of how the development team treats paying customers

My car is a 11/2014 VW Tiguan (2015 model), 177hp, DSG7, R-Line
I have tried the obd11 on other cars with same result (2017 Vw Touran and a 2008 Vw Touran), and i have cleared cache on the app and bluetooth.
Yes i have strong internet, if not, i'm not able to connect to the dongle at all, and no have not yet tried another android device.
Below here is my text from the Shoutbox..:
"Hi, Maybe i got this wrong.. in my Pro-version there is no text in the longcoding.. is that not included in the Pro OBD11 ? I'm also not able to login in Security Access for the Adaptation - codes 31347 and 42013 will not be accepted.. i did clear data."

rlinetiguan, sorry but i do not know your car or its setup but I may be able to offer some help.
Firstly if you look at my cars control unit setup you will see on all the long coding that some bits have descriptions and some do not. This is because the Bits are labeled by the user community and you have the ability to add to this. So having some items with no description is not unusual.
With regards to security access can you please describe the steps you are taking as on my car I make changes using adaptions or long coding then a popup box will come up asking you for the security code. Have you tried that.

Hey cupar280
Yes.. with regards to the long coding, that was what i was afraid of. And i gues that it's driffrent from car to car..? i can see that, for an example, many Golfs have a totally different long coding screen setup.
With the security access.. it looks like the same as yours, buy in mine the login codes are not accepted.. NOTE: in some yes. But in the [09] no go' - and it's there i need to make some adaptation on the LED tail lights (rear inner brake light and turn signal).
Photos below from [09] login and long coding
But anyways.. thanks for all your support on this site you must use a ton of time here.. ;-)

If the OBD11 Screen shows you two login codes then have you tried them both, as i say I always make my changes and if required then i enter the login code shown on the screen and have never had it not work.
There are times when strange things happen (like you try and make a change and it says your cant) when you know you can. What i do (and would suggest the same for you) is you turn your phone / tablet off and wait a few minutes and then back on, clear the app data cache and then try again. I would stress you make the change and then if required the code box will come up rather than trying that first.
Let us know if that helps, if it does not and from the VCDS Forums you are sure the login code is correct I would raise it with support via the online help function.
