Is there a way to extend the time on active lane assist? I will be driving with both hands on the wheel and the message pops up to put my hands on the wheel. It happens a lot and I find it annoying but do not what to turn the feature off. I would just like to extend the time from 15 seconds to maybe 30.

I haven't had a chance to test it myself yet, but a super-list of MK7 mods includes instructions on how to do this. See below and let us know if it works for you! I have tested the mentioned adaption.
The channel is there with the listed options, however a change is not accepted by the car. Error message shown on OBDeleven.
Did anyone manage to get this changed?

I found on a forum the following procedure: Select Control unit A5
Security access
Adaptation
Channel "driving inactivity threshold" or something like that (I found in italian "soglia di disattivazione inattività guida") But I can't find the channel "driving inactivity threshold". Here my screenshot: ![]() ![]() ![]() |
