Guys I need help with the light assistance switch on time. When I go on to the infotainment screen I have the option of early medium or late but seems to not work and the switch on time is always early because my headlights are always on unless I am facing the sun and it’s the same for any option I click. I recently had my BCM changed and it started happening since then. I am sure it’s a coding issue which is not allowing it to switch but constantly being on early. By any chance are you able to give me the coding for it so I can compare it to mine. P.S I have the BCM with adaptions no long coding.

"BCM"? This is not a term that we use here!!

Is your diagnostic device VCDS, or OBD11 (the latter is the purpose of this forum)?

When you changed the BCM on this car, did you make a Backup (or an "admap" in VCDS speak) for the original factory installed 09 Module? And, was the old BCM the type that also did not have an active long-code string?

If the answer to both my questions above is YES, compare the settings on the 2 x BCMs for the adaptation channels below:

ENG122932-ENG123007-RLS_Night_Sensitivity-p_lx_rs_dawn
ENG122932-ENG123006-RLS_Night_Sensitivity-p_lx_rs_day

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT

whataboutthis: zuhair3434 just to confirm you are using the VAG app for your VW and the non VAG app for your BMW, in which case if you are using the non VAG app it should work and show you the OCA. Dec 1, 2024 15:27:09 GMT
