Hello and thanks for reading!
Looking for some help/advice here on a situation I got myself into with my wife's 2014 Audi A4 (Engine code CMPB). Back in June of this year I was very new to this whole thing and made a mistake that I am now trying to remedy. Essentially, I screwed up by trying to modify the gateway installation list incorrectly (for things the car dosent have etc). The issue I have had since that day is a fault code on the gateway that I didn't understand at the time and decided to ignore because the car seemed okay.
Below is a history report from that day in order of events:
-------------------------------------------------------
Gateway coding Added:
(6D) Deck Lid Control Unit
(07) Display Control Unit
(6B) Aerodynamics Control Unit
(A9) Actuator For Structure-Borne Sound
(C0) Actuator For Exterior Noise
Mileage: 0 mi
-------------------------------------------------------
Gateway coding Removed:
6D) Deck Lid Control Unit
(6B) Aerodynamics Control Unit
(A9) Actuator For Structure-Borne Sound
(C0) Actuator For Exterior Noise
Mileage: 0 mi
-------------------------------------------------------
Faults:
03619 - Structure borne sound control module
Intermittent / priority - 2 / frequencyCounter - 1 / drivingCycle - 253 / km-Mileage - 221280 km
00317 - Rear lid control module
Intermittent / priority - 2 / frequencyCounter - 1 / drivingCycle - 253 / km-Mileage - 221280 km
04014 - Control module for engine noise generation Intermittent / priority - 2 / frequencyCounter - 1 / drivingCycle - 253 / km-Mileage - 221280 km
03830 - Aerodynamics control module
Intermittent / priority - 2 / frequencyCounter - 1 / drivingCycle - 253 / km-Mileage - 221280 km
After trying to fix it myself so far, as of today I have two faults still:
03705 - Voltage stabilizer
01044 - Control module incorrectly coded
(both static)
Is anyone able to guide me to fixing this so I can clear be free of faults on the Gateway? Ross Tech website had some info of reported electrical charging issues due to this mistake and I just replaced the battery today with OEM (replaced the original battery btw it was manufactured over 10 years ago!) Any advice is appreciated thank you!
