Hi guys, what am I doing wrong here ... Just received my new ObdEleven Next Gen, plugging it in to my 2023 Toyota Rav4, ignition/engine on, starting the app in my iPhone with Bluetooth on, mobile data on, pushing "Connect" and the device show up in the bottom of the screen, I chose it and and during this the device also becomes visible in the list of Bluetooth devices, after a short while a message turns up saying that there is a device update, I press this and immediately I get a message saying that the update failed. Been unplugging and plugging it in a ton of times, tired to have the phone connected to two different wifi network, one totally open toward Internet, tried with mobile data ... but no luck, just a message saying that update failed. During this process the red light kind of pulsate slightly ... Tried to contact OBDEleven in the chat but no answer ... Please advise if you can. Have a nice day, Anders

Try re-installing the OBDeleven mobile app while the device isn't plugged into your car. Then plug it in and try to connect again.

Hi guys, the trick as I received from the OBD Eleven support chat worked great, use the VAG app to do the initial setup and update, then the other app worked great ;-)
