Not tried any of these but the ESP Multimode look like it might have what your are after. Update - The multimode I think changes the display on the screen and what can be done.
ESP depending on the speed Applying this modification can activate the ESP function acting on the speed that take the vehicle or the value is always fixed. 1 - Module 03 - Electronic brake. Code (40168/20103) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Select - Electronic Stability Program 4 - Select one of the two options: - Activation function of speed - Not enabled (default) - Activated
ESP multimode Applying this modification can have multiple ESP and ASR options depending on how we program. 1 - Module 03 - Electronic brake. Code (40168/20103) 2 - Extended Coding (byte mode) 3 - Byte 29 4 - Bits 0.1 and 2 Activated shows: Activated - ASR disabled - ESP off. 5 - Bit 1 Enabled shows: Activated - ASR deactivated 5 - Bit 2 On shows: Activated - ESC disabled 6 - Bits 1 and 2 shows Activated: Activated - Sport ESC - ESC disabled 7 - Bits 0 and 3 On displays: - On - ASR disabled - ESC Sport.
Disable ESP and ASR With this modification permanently dasactiva the ESP. I do not recommend it, I do not like. 1 - Module 03 - Electronic brake. Code (40168/20103) 2 - Basic Settings 3 - Select - Deactivation ESP and ASR 4 - Select one of the two options: - Not enabled (default) - Activated

thanks, multimode ESP is OK. I wish "ESP off" with one click (like Cupra). Multimode ESP is OK, but you need a lot of "click" in the MENU.
EDIT 5PM: multimode ESP in my car not function. I codid (electronic brake, long coding, byte 29, bit ....) and every variation (bit0,1,2,3 ) media reported "function not available" warning lamps ESP and ABS fleshes... in video tutorial on youtube : has other value - byte 29 and HEX 09, and i have byte 29 and HEX 03 (?) Where is problem, please ?

So... I deactivated thru "basic setting". How do I reactivate or "turn on" the esp and asr.
2017 mk7 GTI. Esp, abs, asr flashing on dash. red "brake" light is solid .. if any pics needed ok let me know but I'm stuck on how to reverse this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

i would raise this question on the golf thread as there are a couple experts who can advise on stuff like this
what ever you do though DO NOT RUN RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS.

Hi! Is there any walk-though guide how to re-activate ESP/ASR after disabling both via basic setting / full reset to controller? ANY help would be appreciated. Long story short; I did a full reset by accident to brake controller and I've managed to get everything "back to normal" but ESP/ASR still not working.
Many big thanks in advance
