Hi, all electronic in Jetta GLI is same as in standard Jetta model. But you can modify your car by going to My car > Information and here you can change image and model name of your car.

When I connect OBD Eleven to my 2016 Jetta, it brings it up as a 2016 Golf? Any idea?

When I connect OBD Eleven to my 2016 Jetta, it brings it up as a 2016 Golf? Any idea? Same thing here detects a GOLF 2016 (not even GTI) or the 2012 +... in the garage list that lets me use more apps, is there a way to force the car selection? or the app we want to try? thanks.

So, it looks as though this mistake with identifying a 2016 (at least) Jetta as a Golf has a side effect. It appears as though the "Apps" do not work correctly (at least some of the time). I used the LED license plate app and it resulted in my DRL being disabled. If this should happen to you, go to Central Electronics - > Coding - > Byte 23 and turn on Bit 6 to re-enable the DRLs.
This really needs to be fixed!
