Hello I purchased the VAG pro so I could reset the inspection on my A3 but all of the adaptations I have tried have had no effect and it co tidies to chime when ignition is switched in or off.
I have tried the adaptations while in ignition on and while running. The adaptations I tried were:
FIX: distance covered since last mileage dependent inspection - set to 0 FIX: max. distance until next next mileage related inspection - set to 16000km FIX: maximum time until next time dependent inspection - set to 365d FIX: reset value for next mileage dependent inspection - set to 16000km FIX: time since last time dependent inspection - set to 0
Can you please explain if I am doing this wrong? Thank you.

OK - first, look at the list of adaptation channels in your first post. Notice that they ALL refer to "inspection" - this is different to the related concept of a "service".
Next, does this car use the conventional system for servicing (which is the earlier of 15,000Kms, or 1 x year), or does it use Extended Service Interval?
If you are unable to answer this question - look at the Vehicle Data Sticker for this car, does it contain the PR code QG1 (see the sticker below). The second way to answer this question is to look at the following adaptation channel in the Dashboard module: - ESI: oil quality > good oil quality
If the channel value is a shown, this car uses Extended Service Interval. If the value is poor oil quality, the conventional service system is used. Note: " poor" does NOT mean sub-standard
So, to silence the chime/warning-message - change the following adaptation channel in the Dashboard module: - ESI: Resetting ESI > reset (or, no warning)

Hello, thank you I will look into this. I presumed it was a timed inspection as the vehicle gave a days countdown until it reached the “Inspection Due” notification.
Thank you.
