What is the encoding to unlock the movie viewing on Composition Media like Discovery Pro?

As the Composition Media comes without any video codec, it can't be unlocked like the DP.
In order to view videos on the CM you need to add additional hardware to connect an external video source.

not true , you can only do it with gen 3ipods ,nanos with video (long ones with cameras ) and iphone 3thru 4s using the red collared 30 pin to mdi dongle .You can order dongle at ecs tuning or your dealer . its not cheap though ,$75 You must convert videos to baseline standard definition below a 720 resolution , 640x480 for best results . lightning connectors do not stream video and the mdi usb dongle isnt high speed .

There is no MDI anymore on current MK 7 FL, only one or more USB-ports. So it won't work as said before. |
