Hello, I have a Golf 7.5FL GTD and I tried to change skin color and startup logo, but as You know the new main menu has 8 icons per page, mine has changed and now my menu is like the old one when you have to slide to the left or to the right. Is there a way to put the new menu disposition/layout back to my discover media? I already tried to reset my Discover Media but nothing changed. Help me please  |

Not 100% as not done it but maybe
5F Information Control Unit -> Long Coding -> byte_17_Skinning -> Skin_1
And start up
Byte_18_screenings
2 is gtd

If you change it to a gti then it’s red (3)
Or you could change the ambient lighting so all the colours are red and set the parameter to the mib to active (that way the lines will be red and startup will be gtd)
Do you have AID or normal clocks?

I then reset the mmi by pressing and holding the on/off button for 10 seconds then went into car/settings then checked the "background lighting" button was in there, pressed it and checked it went on to a picture of the interior of the car, then

no, I tried changing mine but it wouldn’t, will maybe try again later if I have time

01 box top left
Byte 00 is VW (02)
Byte 01 is golf (73)
Byte 02 is model (00)
But as said I tried before and it didn’t work

I think it is something only available with GTI skin.
Do you know other cool mods for MIB 2 o for AID?

Help me please Andreamap, I just recently encountered the same issue after using the OBDELEVEN app to change the theme. I now only have 4 contact favorites vice 6 and also my Menu icons have changed to scroll as you had experienced. Did you figure out how to long code it back? My car is 2018 Golf Highline. |
