Satli: the method for access to the RLS is shown below - the code shown is not for your car (it's for a Highline 103TSI mY13) Don

How do we encode the 09 Channel Long Coding part 0000000000000000000000 for 2017 Golf FL?

You can’t, there’s no long coding in central electronics
You have to code the subsystems

How do we encode the 09 Channel Long Coding part 0000000000000000000000 for 2017 Golf FL? Salti: Since about early 2017, the "09 Channel" (which I assume you mean in OBD11 language to be the Central electrics module @ address hex09) has had a zero-string for it's coding. What happened in these later modules was that ALL the software switches that were in the code, were transferred to adaptation channels. So if you want to change a Byte/Bit that was in the old long coding section - search for the descriptor in the adaptation section of the module Don

I'm looking for it, but I still can not find it. satli: If you are trying to register a retrofitted Rain sensor into the CAN network (as a LIN device) - try this: - Select Central electrics module (@ address hex09)
- Select security access
- Enter the magic number 31347
- Select adaptation
- Search for Assistance light functions
- Select Regen_Lichtsensor
- Set to LIN_REGEN_LICHT_SENSOR
This is the same as setting Byte 6, Bit 1 in the old version BCMs

Byte 6, Bit 1 in We implemented this code. However, we will do what encoding for Bit 5, which is the central electrik> coding> long coding helper> BYTE 7 in automatic headlight switch mk7.

^^^^ hmm........ more information needed!! We know what equipment was physically installed, but what coding changes did you make?
perhaps you might post-up the actual DTC message and also the code-string on the hex09 module AND the code-string on the new light-sensor
