Hello guys. I have vw golf mk5 production year 2006. From time to time I have the yellow steering wheel light on the dashboard. I made scanning with obdeleven. In the moment when I made the scanning with obdeleven I did not have yellow steering wheel light on the dashboard, but in the Module steering angle sender I have yellow. But I can't go inside to check if there is some falt. When I try to read the falts I have a message teling that the modul dos not responding. When I cancel the yellow light becomes black and if I make complete scanning there is no falts. Dose anybody have had this cind of problem. Thanks in advance.

If it is module #04, then you can't address it directly on some models as it is in the steering rack like my MK5 GTI (right-hand-drive generation 3 steering rack). If the steering doesn't feel weird, while driving, I suggest you just do the adaptation according to Ross-Tech's instructions. It is really a pre-defined test drive. wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_(1K)_Steering_Assist

He needs to tell us if he has a LHD or RHD car. If his car is RHD (generation3 steering rack) then it is perfectly normal NOT to be able to access module #4 as it is not accessible directly in these units. The module seems integrated into the the steering rack itself Don't waste any more time trying to access module #4. You should be accessing #44 instead for steering assist Edit: You can find the information you need here wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_(1K)_Steering_Assist
