Hi everyone i am retrofitted discover media pro mib 2 in my golf mk7 2013, unit is from another car from passat b8 cp removed and everything is ok and active but my display show passat not my golf and equipment from passat. How I can adopt on my car with my equipment and screen of my car on display. What is coding process for this?

I think it'll be under version somewhere, I remember changing mine to a Tiguan a while back, then changed it back to a golf

No I’m talking about the car on the “vehicle status” screen, the start screen only says gti. R, etc

I thought the car image is effected via what start up screen you have
I have changed my from gti to gtd previously and the image is different
Can you change the image only ?

Nope, pretty sure it’s only the model type on the start up screen, I could be wrong as I don’t really look at startup

Speaking of that.. Anyone know if it's possible to change the car color in the vehicule status page? Mine switch from black to gray from time to time(seem like a bug)

Hi, I'm new here... I had a problem during a coding.
I used the app to change the multimedia theme,I followed the process and And it went well, but now my composition media is blocked in the opening logo(welcome to volkswagen)
Someone have any idea?
How I can solve this problem?

Yes, I tried to do this but nothing, the radio works the phone via Bluetooth works and also the rear camera but only this...

Have you tried reverting the mod?
Or if you look in the history of the infotainment module and see what’s been changed so then you can change it back manually,
I have heard of firmware freezing (buggy) but that’s nothing to do with coding, just needs vw to install the newest firmware

I have tried to change with another skin but nothing, then I tried to do a soft reset of the composition media Through the long coding but still no results.
Honestly now I don't know how to do...
