Hello all, long time follow/first time poster here. I’m very happy with my OBDEleven and have used it to mess with all sorts of stuff on my 2021 Jetta R-Line (from coding the fog lights to turn on at 20% with the headlights to coding the rear turn signals to alternate, mimicking the Golf’s Urban Joker mod), however I am having trouble adjusting the parameters in the Light Sensor channel within Central Electrics. Specifically, it seems like whatever values I change do nothing at all to alter the characteristics of the lights. If I go to change the “Tunnel einschalt versoegerung” from “2” to “0” (which in theory should change the amount of time it takes for the headlights to turn on in a tunnel from 2 seconds to 0 seconds), and then I test the alteration by covering the sensor, it still takes two seconds for the headlights to come on…. It’s a similar story when I adjust the brightness at which the headlights come on for the night from the noted “1200 lx” to say “400 lx”, the system doesn’t comply and acts as if nothing has changed. I’m wondering if I have to use a different diagnostic mode or if it is just off limits for us OBDEleven users to adjust the Light Sensor values…. Any insight is appreciated, many thanks!

Hello all, not sure if there’s a way to bump a thread for attention on here but I figured I’d try and reply to myself and see if that works. I’m still looking for an answer to my struggles with the light sensor coding if anyone is able to shed some light on whether or not I’m doing anything wrong. The car in question is a 2021 Volkswagen Jetta R-Line (North American model), any help is much appreciated!
