Hi. I recently purchased a 2012 A8L and an OBD-ELEVEN Pro. I have successfully applied some longcoding changes and used one of their apps. Many thanks to all who paved the way and shared that knowledge. But one Adaptation that has me stumped is changing the number comfort blink cycles for the turn signal on a lane change. I found many instructions for this that refer to central electronics≥adaptatation>channel 31 (or similar), but that instruction does not match my A8L. When I get to channel 31 there is no label or description to suggest 'turn signals' and the value is 100 rather than the default 3 that should be there. So, the existing instructions do not match the coding I have for a 2012 A8L.
It is supposed to be a simple change and many Audis accept the comfort blink option.
My A8L has the driver assist package, and I wonder if the coding that is offered or allowed is affected by that or by another option. Also my version of OBD-ELEVEN does not show an App for the comfort blink adaptatation, but it exists for other Audi models and MY (which makes me also think there is a reason it is missing from the longcoding for my version/model).
Has any A8 owner discovered this, too? Or something similar with similar settings? The OBD documentation is very sparse. I may have to call DAP in SC since they are the OBDEleven importer and specialist in the US.
Thanks for any insights and recommendations.
BTW here are the changes I applied successfully so far:
Enable VIM (used with iPhone to get Waze nav and traffic app to display on the mmi display
CD ripping and import to Jukebox
Reveal Hidden menu in MMI
Teardrop After-wipe on windscreen wash
Open & close all windows and sunroof on door unlock-lock with remote/FOB
Open & close trunk with Remote/FOB
