Has anyone done that and where do I find "cupholderlights" US light via CAR menu US light via CAR menu in any switch position
STG 09 coding Assistant Open Byte 17 Bit 2 enable "Cupholder Light (s) installed" Now in the car menu under "Setup" -> "Light" the point "ambient lighting Appear in front. STG 09 adaptation Daytime running light daytime running light permanent running light additionally activates parking light New value "active" Light 0 BLK VL B36 Dimming value AB 100 (at Hallogen desired% value) Dimming value CD 100 Dimming value EF 0 Dimming value Gh 100 Dimming Direction CD Maximize Dimming Direction EF Minimize Dimming Direction GH Maximize Light function A "Ambient light 2" Light function B "Not active" Light function C "Not active" Light function D "Not active" Light function E "Not active" Light function F "flashing left dark phase" Light function G "Flashing left light phase" Light function H "Not active" Light 1 BLK VR B20 Dimming value AB 100 (at Hallogen desired% value) Dimming value CD 100 Dimming value EF 0 Dimming value Gh 100 Dimming Direction CD Maximize Dimming Direction EF Minimize Dimming Direction GH Maximize Light function A "Ambient light 2" Light function B "Not active" Light function C "Not active" Light function D "Not active" Light function E "Not active" Light function F "Flashing right dark phase" Light function G "Flashing right light phase" Light function H "Not active"
Now the US light can be controlled via the "ambient lighting front" control Enable / Disable. 0% is switched off everything from 10% is switched on.

Are you talking about facelift car (i presume you are) in which case you should ask the question in the N section not the 5F (PRE FACELIFT MODEL) as the coding can be different between the cars.

Sorry its taken so long I am in the process of building a fully documented list of all the control functions and cam across cupholderlights in the long coding section of control unit 09, but i am guessing this switch only works if you actually have a cup holder with a light in it (which my car does not). In the same section there is also one for lights in the speakers.
It is already labeled but its Byte 17, Bit 2.
