Hello, I have lowered my station wagon and would now like to set the basic setting for the headlight range with the standard LED headlights. So far, I have only found instructions for the multifunction module 4B, which my car does not have. Can this be done via D6/D7 LED module? I didn't dare to delete or adjust anything for the basic setting. Thank you very much.

You can just safely use the screws located on the headlights. I did this myself on my MK8 without Matrix (so no 4B) and it didn't care about the fact that it wasn't in "Basic settings" mode. Just google for "headlight alignment chart" and with a PH screw (or T6) raise/lower them as needed.
Idiots at VW weren't able to align them so I did it in a flat parking lot on a store side wall, masking tape and a measure tape. Never got "flashed" since and they work flawless.

It's not that easy in Germany with the TÜV, and why I bought the OBD tool. Somehow the workshop must also be able to adjust that. Unfortunately, I lack the experience for coding.

The adjustment for basic and LED+ headlights are under 09-Central electrics as the headlight are under the control of this module (and also connected to the 09 sub-CAN). Go to 09-Central electrics then find Basic settings. First start the following basic setting: "Basic headlight adjustment" When this is started, go ahead and adjust your headlights manually with the screws. When finished adjusting, return back to the Basic settings manue and extecute "Acnowledge basic settings". To enter into the adjustment mode, SFD must be unlocked (OBD11 does it automatically unless configured otherwise) and the hood needs to be popped. Only headlights adjusted this way will hold the adjustment. Adjusting without starting basic settings might damage the headlight adjustment motor, as the system will always try to force the existing basic settings onto the headlight. Adjustment at certified VW dealers is around 100 euro, but not every workshop has a regloscope - you need to ask several official dealers (mostly larger ones) until you find one that has the equipment.

Hello, today I was able to test it, and it worked perfectly. Thanks again.
