Description:
NOT for vehicles with CANTON sound system.
The system must be restarted after activation.
Not working with Radio, only for Media playbacks.
Function:
Turn ON or OFF Skoda Surround and Virtual Subwoofer.
In-car procedure:
After activation, go to Media, then settings, then Sound, then tick Skoda Surrond and Virtual Subwoofer.

Hello, Have you tried this coding? Is it working? I have the free plan so i cant code, only one click app’s, and thats why i requested it. I have seen people use vcds/obd11 pro to unlock this on the mib 2.5 like i have. Migh be usefull to add it to most octavia’s mk3 before and after facelift as it seems like any octavia mk3 can use this coding |

Hallo, the app is not available after connecting to my car, i assume it has been added to an other version of octavia vrs. Its a 2018 octavia mk3 facelift that comes with 230hp. The facelift model is easy to recognise looking at the front lights, they are splitted compared to the pre-facelift model. I have send my vin number in a priv message the other day. Thank you. |

Hello, Please check again. Hallo! Today i scanned the car for faults and i have this one: 5F Multimedia System description: MU-H-LND-EU Software number: 565035021B Software version: 1240 Hardware number: 565035021 Hardware version: H54 Faults: U101400 - Control module incorrectly coded static Is it possible that the change in the skoda surround gave me this error code? And how would u suggest to fix it + keep the function active, as i realy like it… Thanks in advance! |

Just turn OCA to previous option. Turned ‚skoda sound system’ OCA back to off, and the fault become intermittent from static, erased it and it did not come back. U think its possible to turn it back on after u guys make some changes to the coding? Or will the fault keep coming back? I am very sad for this issue as the sound quality improvement was enormous… my wife loved it to <.>. But i will not risk can module or the entertainment system to have an long term issue where it possibly could go bad after a while. Thank you for your response. |

There is nothing what we can do. Multimedia control unit just identifies wrong coding. You can ignore fault and enjoy better quality.
