I tried to lower my new (to me) '21 S7 today with the OBDeleven. I followed this write up... but there were a few steps that weren't in the directions here.
Switch on ignition - Drive Select -AUTO Open engine hood
Control unit 74 Chassis control
Select “Adaptation” Read Current Values of.. Body height of front left wheel arch edge… 385.40 Body height of front right wheel arch edge… 385.50 Body height of rear left wheel arch edge… 388.10 Body height of rear right wheel arch edge… 391.90
Select “Basic setting” Select “Activate level control” Select “Start up reference level control”
Adjustment Enter new values Body height of front left wheel arch edge (value old plus x) 398 Body height, wheel housing edge, front right (value old plus x) 398 Body height of rear left wheel housing edge (value old plus x) 400 Body height of rear right wheel arch edge (value old plus x) 400
Back into “Basic settings” Switch to normal level control function Activate level control Clear fault memory
Now I have "Level Control System" fault, Small print says "Axle Load Definition Not Performed". Code C1046F6

The solution for this error is:
- Ignition ON - Drive select to COMFORT - Hood open - Car on the level surface - Get out from the car including baggage
* Control unit 74 * Basic settings 1: Start up normal level with tight ctrl tolerance 2: Calibration of level ctrl for determing axle load 3: Start up to normal level 4: Activate level control
- Clear all other errors
Complete
