Hello! Today, I installed the reverse camera, the one included in the emblem. I got to the step where I need to connect the wire to the reverse light wire (so the camera only activates with the reverse gear), and I realized that I'm not getting any power to the reverse lights. I probably messed up the coding. I also checked the fuses, and none of them are blown.
Can someone help me?

mike:Hi. If this is the low-level camera, the trigger for activating the camera comes from the right-side reversing light. This means that it's easy to diagnose the more-likely reason for your problem: - If the right-side reverse-light illuminates correctly (meaning at full level) when reverse gear is selected - the cause is likely a physical problem (maybe a wiring/connection problem).
- If the right-side reverse-light does NOT illuminate when reverse gear is selected - the cause is likely a coding problem. In this case, post-up screenshots for Leuchte29RFL RA64. To be clear, your screenshots need to show ALL 19 x channels for the Leuchte-set

Hello! Thank you for your quick response. As I mentioned above, I checked to see if I have voltage (current) on the reverse light wires, and there is none. I also looked and noticed that I have LED reverse lights on both tail lights. I greatly appreciate your work, I've seen your activity on this forum, congratulations!

mike: The coding for the Leuchte-set is OK (the settings are normal factory values for a reversing LED lamp).
After you completed the physical installation and you connected the coaxial cable from the camera to the QUAD-lock connector, did you tell the MIB to start using the camera? This is done by enabling Byte 19, Bit 4 on long-code for the Multimedia module.
And if this car has a Parking Assistance module, you also need to tell this module to start using the camera by enabling Byte 2, Bit 4
