Hi guys. I have a Golf MK7 (2016 whit MIB2) with original USB (picture attached) and I want to put the green USB for Android and CarPlay. I bought one and it doesn't work properly.
What reference should I buy for the green USB?

Hi,
I got myself the 5Q0 035 726J usb port with 5G0 035 222 H casing.
It was pulled from a Passat B8 and works great. Got it when I did my retrofit from MIB1 (MSTD) to MIB2 (MST2)
The port is not green at the end but black but anyways I saw it recommended on a retrofit thread. Paid around 25$ for the whole package.
If you have the green one and still does not work you might have to enable it with OBDeleven to get it to work properly with CarPlay.

-byte_19_USB needs to be USB-iPOD

Hi.
I already have the USB-iPOD enabled on the 5F mod.
I've also tried with 2 other original cables, maybe it's the iPhone version is old.
I'll see if I can get another more recent iPhone to try

Happened to me when I used a USB from AliExpress, Got a Genuine one and an original cable for my phone. Works perfectly ever since.
