hello gents
i recently purchased a of OEM Golf 7R headlights (with LED indicators and double U's #5G2941751D and 5G2941752D). I want to replace the existing (5G2941751A and 5G2941752A - halogen indicator and single outer U) with the R ones.
I read and i quote "Wires are the same. Main beam, LED signals, and double DRLs work out of the box, except AFS, cornering lights, and high beam. These have to be coded."
I also read that i must do the following changes in adaptation...(which I think only sorts out the indicators)
- "(1)-Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36-Lasttyp 0" set to "33 - LED-Modul Blinkleuchten" (Standard: 12 - Blinkleuchten) - "(6)-Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36-Dimmwert AB 0" set tol "127" (Standard: 100) - "(1)-Leuchte1BLK VRB20-Lasttyp 1" set to "33 - LED-Modul Blinkleuchten" (Standard: 12 - Blinkleuchten) - "(6)-Leuchte1BLK VRB20-Dimmwert AB 1" set to "127" (Standard: 100)
How do I code for the cornering lights and the AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting System)?
Please take note that I've got the OBD11 dongle with PRO code for less than a week and have only done some of the one button changes (app), so please go easy on me.
I have logs which i pulled before doing the "app" changes which i attach
I don't want to stuff things up (which for me is actually very easy) if someone could please assist me.
Naeem
p.s. I have got a South African spec Clubsport

retrofitted the headlights this weekend and no coding required. straight plug and play.
little adjustment of headlight screw is all that's required.
