Hi everyone,
I have an Audi 8Y 2021 equipped with the Virtual Cockpit Plus. I’m eager to activate the RS-Runway View and S-Sport View on my display. However, I encountered a challenge: the coding for these features is only accepted within the first 100km of the car's usage. Unfortunately, my car has already surpassed that limit.
I've come across information about using MQB-Evo tools and programming in Python to potentially bypass this restriction. As a programmer, I have a solid understanding of coding but I'm new to this specific automotive programming world.
Here are my main questions:
Getting Started with MQB-Evo Tools: Does anyone have a beginner's guide or resources for using MQB-Evo tools? I’d appreciate any documentation or tutorials that can help me understand the basics.
Coding Assistance: Has anyone here successfully activated these views on a similar model? I’m looking for detailed steps or any insights you might have.
Professional Help: If someone has the expertise to help me with this, I’m open to remote assistance or even willing to pay for the service.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So far no one completed it. Not without replacing cluster. And it’s nothing to do with vehicle mileage at all. I have spare used cluster here and even with taking mileage back to 0, channels are still blocked.

Oh, I've read something on the threads on other Audis models that that was the case.

On Gen1 clusters yes. Not on Evo

Okay that's clear. Somehow does not allow coding. Should be a way around that right? Was looking at MQB tools but that is I think for the older generations. Very curious to find out what the options are for MQB-evo.

So far no one completed it. Not without replacing cluster. Where did you learn this? Just curious to find out if there are communities that dive a bit deeper into the software on the car. I would like to learn more about it and also possibly contribute.

We can have this conversation for next few days mate. At this point, not possible without replacing cluster for brand new. Its £900 in UK if you fancy. Takes few years before someone will crack it. Same was with sport display in TT. TT came out in 2015 but literally last year someone managed to tweak Sport Display on them.
