I'm trying to code rain close on my my13 Octavia 3. But I'm unable to find the adaptation channels described here. I have access to vcds(borrowed a cable) and have no trouble finding them there. Is there something I'm missing? I've tried both English and German language but it's nowhere to be seen.

I think there is a dependency to enable rain-close - you need some other specific sensor/option to be present on the car, but I will let those in the know comment further.
I also tried to enable the wiper parking after car off, but I could not find it either, although it seems to be mentioned in other forums/locations

The issue here is that the necessary adaption channel is missing in the list on obdeleven - or its named something else. I've yet to find it. |

According to the VCDS information I have you need to code the RLFS (Rain Light Humidity Sensor) to 06885D. I can't work out how to do this on the ODBeleven; then it should work. If someone has instructions on how to do this it would be great.....

Protocol can be checked by going to info of control unit. |

Yes it is possible to activate this via obdeleven however I would say that from what i have seen on many Golf / Leon sites for some cars it does work and for others it does not so its not a guaranteed success.
The coding should be
Rain Closing
Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics)
Security access
Access code 31347
Adaptation
(Zugriffskontrolle) Access Control 2- from that menu select Regenschliessen auswählen - on the Leon this is REGENSCHLIESSEN_EIN_AUS just use google if you have something starting with Regenschliessen (Rain close)
Value: Permanent
(Zugriffskontrolle) Access Control 2- from that menu select Menuesteuerung Regenschliessen auswählen
Value:Aktif (Something like Active or Permanent if in English).
Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics)
Control unit Long Coding

Hey. i have tried this but that does not work for me:( In radio menu shows option rain closing...but does not work.
The diferents in coding haw i Subsystem not rls bur RLFS.
Is possible to coding an american blinkers?

Seba, just so we all understand you said it did not work was that on the first coding but does work on the Leon Coding (eg the one I showed afterwards).
Re other feature check out the spreadsheet listed in my signature and also look at the coding and adaption sections of the various cars in your year.

Yes,on first codink didnt work,and also for leon didnt work:)
I have just activated bid 1 and bid 2....on first coding,and for leon coding says disable bit 1 and bit 2:) So now works:)
