greets Golfer: To properly enable flexible service, your car needs to have the "smarts" to make the necessary calculations. So it needs to have the equipment to measure stuff like oil temperature, oil level, wear indicator level etc. And then the car needs to have the algorithm installed to make the calculation. You can tell if the car has all this equipment and the "smarts" by looking at the vehicle carriage label sticker. If it contains the PR number “ QG1“, then the car is capable of using flexible service interval. So, if you want to attempt the flexible servicing option on your car - try this: Don

greets greets Golfer: My apology - of course you wanted to know how to set the service interval to FIX! I'm not sure why I read your request the opposite way around- must be old age and too much red wine!! So - what you will need to do to disable flexible service facility in your car is to change the SIE: Oil quality adaptation channel (in the middle two screenshots of my previous post) to poor oil quality. Don't get precious about using this setting even though you are using the correct oil. Using the "poor" setting will stop the flexible service facility and your car will automatically fail-over to FIX service interval. Then, to set-up 1 year/15,000 km fixed service interval - follow the settings on the screen below. I've set-up the "reset" values to 2 x normal interval, but you can use any number you want. I've also suggested that you set the time/distance-traveled since the last service to 0 - but again you can choose any numbers that you want . Don

Hi, i am trying to set it on a Seat Ateca.
I have finished steps until Control unit > Dashboard.
Just doing this i can see that service interval has changed on car multimedia screen looking for service interval.
I have not applied any change on Control Unit > Engine.
Do i have to change as well on Engine or just the changes already have on "Dashboard" are enought??
Thanks for your help
